Experience the richness, subtlety and effectiveness of Biodynamic
Massage through giving and receiving the massages.
You will get insight into
• How to connect to the whole person through touch
• How Biodynamic Massage helps digest emotional and physical stress
• How the biofeedback of the ‘psycho-peristalsis’ helps guide the massage
• How different forms of Biodynamic Massage help with
different emotional and physical needs
• How to respond when massage (bodywork) brings up emotions
• How you personally deal with stress and how to treat yourself
The course is mainly designed for professionals - nurses, holistic body-workers, counsellors and
psychotherapists - who want to incorporate basic Biodynamic principles
within their own work.
Non-professionals having an interest in this kind of work are very welcome to apply.
CPD certificates will be provided*
What is Biodynamic Massage?
Biodynamic Massage is often used within Biodynamic Body-Psychotherapy,but can also be used as a treatment in its own right.
Our essence and qualities, our past and present emotions, are alive in our bodies and can be reached through body work.
As Biodynamic practitioners, we believe that our bodies are able to ‘digest’ emotional and physical stress (Gerda Boyesen’s
theory of the ‘psycho- peristalsis’ of the intestines).
We listen to these tummy rumblings and use this biofeedback to guide the massage.
We can work directly on the skin or through light clothing.
